Offered for sale is a wonderful large vintage hand crafted etched Brass Amphora pitcher set with two shallow cops and a stand to hold them made in Saudi Arabia. It is beautifully etched in a floral design on one side and "Saudi Arabia" with a palm tree and two crossed swords on the other which the the Saudia Arabia emblem national emblem that was adopted in 1950. It is in very good vintage condition. There is one small dent on the back at the level on the bottom of the handle and the left hand side on the stand where the cups go is bent slightly downward. There is also some stainig/spotting from use that could easily be polished out. It is approximately 23 inches tall includng the stand. The pitcher itself is approximately 17 inches tall, 19 including the stopper. The weight in toal is approximatly 7 pounds...3.5 for the pitcher without the stopper and 3.5 for everything else. Not sure of age, could not find anything like it online. It could date the the 1950's but not sure. I bought it from a local estate sale here in Florida and was told by the estate holders children that it belonged to thier parents but they were not sure when it was purchased.
