Vintage Yoruba African Hand made Thorn Carving of a female figure working - Traditional African Art in Thorn Wood Carving. Light slightly mahogany wood. Very good vintage condition, a wonderful object with a lot of spirit and character.
This object is part of the collection that was brought from Africa in 1960s, these figures are hand carved and glued, very often due to the natural glue aging and the wood drying the bits might have been re-attached since the figures are surprisingly fragile. Please note that I will do my utter best to pack them when posting but you might need to re-glue some bits back.
